Our house is an old manor house that we have totally restored in order to valorize this heritage. A sheepfold, adjacent to the house, has also been renovated and transformed into an apartment, which we propose to you to rent. We have chosen to preserve the character of these old buildings, by keeping the exposed stone walls and by using natural products, as much as possible.
The property is located at the exit of the village, on the road to La Rochelle. After us, there are only fields! Quiet and calm, you are also close to all the conveniences present in the village, between 1 and 1,5 km: bakery, butcher's shop, tobacconist's/press, small commercial surfaces like Aldi (just in front of us), Intermarché (1,2km) or Super U (2km), on the road to Nantes.
Beyond the village, the Marais Poitevin opens up to you on one side, with the freshness of the canals of the Green Venice, and on the other side, the Atlantic Ocean with its numerous islands (Ré, Oléron, Aix) and its beaches. You will enjoy these natural spaces by boat, canoe, or during sea cruises in the Pertuis Charentais. For the children (but also the older ones!), amusement parks are not far away: Futuroscope (1h30 away), O'Gliss Park (3⁄4 h), le Puy du fou (1h15 away), le Château des aventuriers (50 min away), ...
The accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and a bedroom. The kitchen includes an induction cooker, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Senseo coffee maker and kettle. Crockery, cooking utensils and dishes are available. The living room has a sofa and a television. Two bunk beds (90cm) also allow two additional beds and separate from the bedroom. The bedroom has a 140 cm bed and a 120 cm bed. A wardrobe and a chest of drawers are available for storage. The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin and an Italian shower. The toilets are separate. An internet access is also available in the apartment.
The apartment opens onto a private terrace and the swimming pool, shared with the owners, all in a green garden with flowers and trees. Garden furniture, deckchairs, a parasol and a barbecue are also at your disposal. A parking lot and a private access to the accommodation are reserved for you.
The accommodation is non-smoking and animals are not allowed.
